Moon phase calendar for 2014

Loss of the Night app user Andrew Cool from Australia has produced this very cool calendar of the phases of the moon in 2014:

A higher resolution version is available here, and you can buy the poster on zazzle. (I got a coffee mug, and I don't recommend it because Zazzle's printing resolution on the cup is too low.)

Update: Andrew has made 2015 moon phase calendars with different designs and for the Northern and Southern hemispheres.

  1. Thank you for sharing. But this post doesn't show the moon phase for the particular date. I have finally found Moon Calendar which shows the exact moon phase for particular date.

    1. Hello Dinesh,

The day of the month runs across the top, and the month of the year runs downward. They are labeled on the top and right, respectively.

  2. Hi, can anyone tell me the exact time of the "DARK MOON" , and NOT the new moon time. the New moon is the first sign of the cresent light. and NOT the absence of Light (dark moon.) Why is the Dark moon NOT recognized as part of the cycle, instead it is ignored, and called the New moon when is it NOT. The moon has distinct phases and cycles and ALL faces of the moon are equally important. Man has yet to realize this truth.

  3. The phase for each day of the entire year is shown in that image, so just pick the phase you like and look it up. You can also find information about the moon's motion over your home here: http://www.timeanddate.com/moon/germany/berlin
